With reference to your Secret telegram

(3) No.47 of 18th April, 1934, on the subject of the

surrender to the Hong Kong Government of the Naval

Arsenal Yard, I have the honour to inform you that

the fourth and final payment of $500,000 less £5,000 =

$459,148.94 was made to the Naval Authorities on

1st May, 1935.
